Dual Citizenship Translations
Italy has an agreement with many countries allowing a person of Italian descent citizenship through jus sanguinis (blood right).
This means that if you have Italian ancestry and are a citizen of the U.S. and Canada and a host of other countries, you can obtain Dual Citizenship if you qualify (link to independent website will open in new window).
Dual citizenship has many benefits. Being an Italian citizen automatically makes you a citizen of the European Union, and that means you can live, work, and travel freely within any of the member states.
If you know you qualify, and need the following documents, I can help you.
- birth certificate translations
- marriage certificate translations
- death certificate translations, etc.
Remember to affix your documents with an apostille and bring along your ancestor’s Certificate of Naturalization to your consular appointment.
